The preparation for new season started in the end of June, when our team lost with Neugersdorf and Hradec Králové, new team in first czech league, beated Bautzen from fourth German league 5:0 and drawed with Slovakian Podbrezová 2:2. First Saturday in July Slovan played cup in Čelákovice, where beated Příbram in semifinal and lost with Slavia in final. Next week our team was in Austria on camp. On Thursday we played two matches, first was lost with Cracovia and second win against Austrian BW Linz. Last match Slovan played at Sunday against Ukranian Luck and lost by penalty in last minute 2:3. Before start of new season, Slovan will play against Rostov, Varnsdorf and Dresden.
After end of last season, many players came back to their teams. Bakoš to Pilsen, Shala and Pulkrab to Sparta, Jefremov to CSKA and Rabušic to Italy. Kevin Luckassen left to Austrian league, where he will be playing for SKN St. Polten. Of course, we need to replace these players, so from Olomouc came Ševčík and Navrátil, striker Hadaščok came back from loan in Vlašim. We again signed two players on loan – young Russian striker Komličenko from Krasnodar and Filip Lesniak from Tottenham. We also signed former player of Slavia Prague Milan Nitrianský.
