"I am glad that we have agreed to continue working together after my playing career has ended. I´m full of anticipation to see what my new role will bring and how I will feel in it. I hope I will be useful for the club," Selassie said. "In close cooperation with the coaching staff and the sporting director, I will work on matters related to the A-team, also using the experience I gained during my time abroad," he specifies.
"Already when Theo returned to Liberec from Bremen, it was assumed that he would be able to use his rich experience not only as a player, but also in another role. Now the time has come. We are gaining in him a reinforcement that should help with the functioning of our sports department. I believe that he will quickly get used to his new role and will be successful in it," Pavel Marek, the club´s director, added.
