Commentary
The game had a nightmare start for the visiting team as the home side managed to put one in very quickly. Former Slovan player Ondřej Smetana opened the scoring with a header just four minutes in. Couple minutes later, Josef Šural found Martin Frýdek inside the penalty area with a cross, but his shot got deflected by the goalie for a corner kick.
Slovan had another chance with time running out in the first half, long shot by Frýdek after a cross by Dzon Delarge got blocked in front though.
Liberec had a great start to the second half, early on Šural had a chance following a cross, but the header got steered aside by the goalie once again. Eight minutes later, Slovan took advantage of blown coverage inside the penalty area and after a cross by Jan Mudra, Dzon Delarge put the ball into the net to make it 1-1.
With ten minutes left, however, things started getting bad again. René Dedič beat Luboš Hroššo following a great cross to make it 2-1 and seven minutes after that, Martin Motyčka was left all alone inside the penalty area and sealed the deal making it 3-1.
