The game started out even, but FC Slovan had the first big chance when Dzon Delarge tried a shot from the right side, but goalkeeper Martin Slavík made an important stop. However, not long after that, Jan Hošek found the back of the net following a free kick in a good position.
With first half reaching its conclusion, Martin Sus sparked a scoring chance for Slovan, but his cross flew right through the penalty box untouched. Five minutes late,r Jan Krob walked the ball in on the left side and beat Lukáš Hroššo from a tough angle.
Fourteen minutes into the second half, a crucial goal came for the visiting side as Martin Frýdek sent a low shot past Slavík and in. A little bit later, Benjamin Balázs gave his team a new 3-1 lead, but they would still need to score two more goals to advance.
Immediately after the goal, Krob fired a great shot just over the crossbar. But Teplice would not score again, it was Marek Bakoš who got close to doing that for FC Slovan late in the second half and a 3-1 final score meant that Liberec will be in the finals.
