Commentary
After international break, our team had important second leg of MOL Cup against Sparta Prague. First match ended by home win 2:1. Every result except lost could send Slovan to semifinal.
First opportunity had in 17th minute Bartl, who shot from inside of penalty area, but Miller saved. First shot of home team ended by goal, when Petr Jiráček equalised from 20 metres. Former Slovan´s player Šural had chance after Jiraček´s free kick, but he hit just a side net. After first half was more satisfied player of Sparta.
Second half started with two shots of Coufal, but first was off target and second was saved by Miller to corner kick. After Breite´s corner kick Folprecht headed, but Kováč managed to head off the opportunity. On the other side was dangerous Fatai, who shot off the empty goal. Just a few moments after that Kehinde Fatai get ball from Hovorka, went by himself to Hladký and scored.
Sparta lead 2:0, but if the Liberec scored for 2:1, the match would be decided in penalty kick, but Pokorný´s header ended after another great save on post. Unfortunetely our team cannot score, even though we had many chances. Our cup journey ended in quarterfinal.
