Commentary

The first half was rather uneventful, despite the fact that it didn´t really start slow. Seven minutes in, Ondřej Kolář had to make his first save on a good shot by Tomáš Berger, and five minutes later, Filip Rada on the other side did so facing an attempt by David Pavelka.

Early in the second half, Pavelka was brought down by a foul close to the penalty area of the home team, after which Josef Šural took charge of the ensuing free kick and executed it with perfection, giving FC Slovan a big 1-0 lead, their first of the spring season.

However, that lead would be gone soon. Just twelve minutes later, a wild scramble in the penalty area following a corner kick helped Roman Polom score an equalizer. And not long after that, Erich Brabec headed the ball into his own goal defending a cross into the box.

With Dukla up 2-1, Michal Breznaník sent out a perfect pass for Martin Sus who fired a good shot, but goalie Rada stood his ground and kept his team ahead. As a response, Jakub Mareš made it the final 3-1 with just six minutes left in the match.
