Commentary
The second home game of the season brought Dukla Praha into town, but the first half looked like only one team was out there. Few minutes in, Zdeněk Folprecht could open the scoring, but missed the goal in an amazing opportunity.
Josef Šural could open the scoring as well, a couple times in the first half. First he was denied by goalie Filip Rada after a great cross by Lukáš Bartošák, then he almost scored off of a Dukla player crossing the ball in.
Josef Šural would pull it off a bit later though. Great free kick execution had Rada frozen and so were the other Dukla players watching the ball fly in right into the top corner.
Dukla had its first chance to score in the second half when Tomáš Berger made his way through the defence, but couldn´t beat sensational goalie Václav Hladký whose magical show had just started at this point.
He wasn´t, however, able to catch Berger´s second shot. After a Slovan handball inside the Liberec penalty area, Tomáš Berger sent the ball right next to the post and in, Hladký couldn´t have gotten there.
Slovan had their penalty kick as well when Milan Kerbr was brought down ilegally in the box. The designated scorer Šural, however, wasn´t able to beat Rada as he aimed a bit too much to center.
The final minutes were just as interesting and it was Šural again who got his team close to the lead one more time. Rada made another save though and so Slovan recorded their second tie of the campaign.
