Slovan failed to catch the start of the second half and suffered a close 1:2 defeat to Sparta
Prague/Liberec - Lubos Kozel´s team wanted to take advantage of the big rotation in the Sparta lineup, which they resorted to after Thursday´s Europa League match. However, after the break they scored two quick goals from Haraslín and Olatunji. Substitute Horský restored Slovan´s hope, but unfortunately the equalizer did not come from the final pressure.
Slovan beat Olomouc 2:0, Penner and Horský scored
Liberec - League football has returned after a break of almost two months. Lubos Kozel´s team welcomed Sigma Olomouc. Slovan was more active in the first half and determined the course of the match. Olaf Kok, a debutant in the starting line-up, had the best chance. However, he didn´t convert it and the score before the break was 0:0. Slovan continued to be active and went for the win. Penner opened the scoring, the best scorer of the preparation, confirmed his form. In the end, Horský added another goal. Both players scored their first league goal and decided that Liberec defeated Olomouc 2:0.
Update: Our timetable for the winter break
Liberec - The players of FC Slovan Liberec are in the winter break. However, the time off is not particularly long, as preparations for the second half of the season begin on 3rd January 2024. Practice matches against Legnica and Jihlava as well as a training camp in Turkey are planned.

L i b e r e c - FC Slovan Liberec as a member club supports the position of the European Club Association (ECA) on the judgment of the European Court of Justice in the ESL case and together with other clubs intends to continue to defend the values on which European football is based.
Slovan lost to Pardubice 0:2 in the last game of the year
Liberec/Pardubice - Slovan visited the new stadium in Pardubice in the last game of the year. In the first half, Pardubice players were the first to score when Zlatohlavek netted in the 12th minute. Slovan players were more active after that, but they didn´t manage to score a goal before the break. In the 67th minute, Daněk made it easier for Pardubice by increasing the score to 2:0. Despite the final pressure and a lot of shots, Slovan couldn´t make it through and went back home without a point.
No goal in Ďolíček, Slovan drew against Bohemians with ten players
P r a g / L i b e r e c - The fans of both teams had little reason to cheer at FC Slovan Liberec´s postponed match at Bohemians 1905 in Prague. Despite having the upper hand in the first half, Slovan were unable to take advantage of any of their chances. However, after playing the last half hour with a reduced number of players, they can still be happy with the point.
Slovan beat Zlín 5:3 at home
Liberec - In their last home game of the calendar year, FC Slovan Libecer welcomed FC Zlín to the U Nisy stadium. The home side started actively when Žambůrek scored with his head and then Frýdek scored from the penalty spot. Tkáč reduced the deficit at the end of the first half. The second half started more quietly, but in the end there were five more goals. Pourzitidis, Červ and Rabušic scored for Liberec. Didiba and Vukadinovic completed the scoring for the away side. Slovan won 5-3 and are now just three points behind the top six.
Slovan defeated Boleslav 2:1 on the snowy pitch, Ghali scored two goals
Liberec - After the international break, league football returned. Along with it came the match at the Stadion U Nisy, where Slovan Liberec welcomed Mladá Boleslav. The game started actively, with Ahmad Ghali opening the scoring in the 7th minute after Preisler´s cross. Shortly after, Pulkrab equalized with a header. The game then played out mostly in the midfield. The second half was marked by snowy conditions. The weather didn´t help the football, as the ball and players were slipping. The winning goal came from Ghali, who scored from outside the penalty area, marking his first league goals. Liberec thus secured all three points at home and extended their unbeaten streak.
Slovan wins a point in Hradec at the end of the first half of the season
Hradec Králové/Liberec - Liberec footballers closed the first half of the regular season of the Czech highest football league with a duel against Hradec Králové. They were down, but thanks to Christian Frýdek they managed to equalise in the first half. In the second half, Hradec Králové managed to get the ball into the net twice, but both situations were preceded by offside and neither of the goals could be conceded. Luboš Kozel´s team finally won a point for a 1-1 draw.
Slovan won a rainy game against České Budějovice - Kulenovic scored the winner
Liberec - Slovan entered a rainy game with Luka Kulenović, who returned to the starting lineup after an injury. The Croatian striker was the only one to score when he slid the ball into the open net after a pass from Preisler. Slovan was able to celebrate a slim 1-0 win.
