Slovan was not enough for the favourites, they lost to Slavia by three goals
Prague/Liberec - In the 10th round of the Czech top league, Slovan faced their opponents from Prague, while the Liberec players played against Slavia. Jindřich Trpišovský´s team decided the result in the first half when Ousou, Olayinka and Tecl scored. Lubos Kozel´s team, weakened by several players, could not answer the goals and lost 0:3.
Slovan lost the lead and defeated Mladá Boleslav 1:3 at home
Liberec - In the ninth round of the top Czech league, coach Kozel´s men played a home game against Mlada Boleslav. In the first half, van Buren managed to break through and sent Slovan into the lead. However, the second half did not go well for the Liberec players. First, Matějovský equalised from a penalty and Ladra scored in the 87th minute. In addition, Stránský scored into an empty net and Slovan lost 1:3 against Boleslav.
Slovan won 5:1 on the field in Rokycany and qualified for the third round of the MOL Cup
Rokycany/Liberec - Coach Kozel´s team entered the second round of the MOL Cup on the field of Divizion-Club Rokycany. After a great promotion of the home team on Twitter, a high attendance came to the stadium to watch a fair match from both sides. Slovan´s quality was evident from the first minutes and the Blue and Whites came away with a comfortable 5-1 victory.
Thanks to two goals at the beginning of both halftimes, Slovan won 2:0 in Ďolíček
Prague/Liberec - Coach Kozel´s men were back in Prague´s Ďolíček after less than a month, this time against the home team Bohemians 1905. Slovan had great entries to both halftimes. Matěj Valenta opened the scoring in the first one, and Lukáš Červ in the second. An injury to Christian Frýdek and the sending off of Matěj Valenta was definitely a blemish on the match. Slovan managed to win 2:0, and after six years took all three points from Ďolíček.
Slovan was the better team in the match with Plzeň. Yet they lost 0:1
Liberec - The defending champions from Plzeň, who also qualified for the main stage of the Champions League, came to the U Nisy stadium. But it didn´t look like that during the game. Especially in the second half, Slovan was the only team on the pitch to create a number of scoring opportunities. However, they didn´t beat goalkeeper Stanek. On the other side, the only shot on our goal was decided by Jan Sýkora in the 41st minute.
Slovan played with ten players, but took a point from Olomouc for a 1:1 draw
Olomouc/Liberec - Slovan footballers faced their second consecutive away game in the 6th round of the Czech top league. Coach Kozel´s players did not enter the match against Olomouc ideally and were 0:1 down after the first half. Višinský managed to equalise in the second half and after Talovjerov´s sending off Slovan added a point to the table for a 1-1 draw.
Slovan won 2:1 in a tough match against Slovácko
Uherské Hradiště/Liberec - Coach Kozel´s players went on a long trip to Uherské Hradiště, where they were awaited by Slovácko, strengthened by their success in the form of promotion to the Europa Conference League. Theodor Gebre Selassie opened the scoring at the end of the first half, then Daníček was sent off. At the start of the second half, Mick van Buren took advantage of a powerplay and Mihálik reduced the deficit for the home side from a penalty. The rest of the match the Liberec players fought back and earned a valuable 2:1 win.
Slovan tied with České Budějovice 1:1, opponent equalized in the end
Liberec - Slovan played their second home game against Ceske Budejovice. They were the better and more active team for most of the game. Our goal was scored in the 22nd minute by van Buren. We were also better in the second half, but towards the end the opponent fought back as well. This finally brought them an equaliser when Havel scored in the 90th minute. The final score was 1:1.
A bad end of the first half decided that Slovan lost in Ďolíček against Pardubice 1:2
Praha/Liberec - A duel between a 100% successful team and a team that hasn´t won a point yet. This was the match between Slovan Liberec, who came to Prague Ďolíček to challenge Pardubice. Unfortunately, the teams did not build on these series. Pardubice decided at the end of the first half when Hlavatý and Vlček scored. Slovan reduced the deficit at the beginning of the second half thanks to Kozák. However, we failed to equalise and we lost to Pardubice 1:2.
Mick van Buren scored a hat-trick and Slovan beat Teplice 5:1!
L i b e r e c - After the win against Sparta in the first round, Slovan started confident into the match and looked for goals that soon came. Doumbia, Talovjerov and van Buren scored the goals that secured the 5:1 win over Teplice and leaving Slovan on top of the table for now.
