Slovan awaiting training camp in Austria

Klub
For the first ten days of July, our league team has a training camp in Austria, specifically in the town of Aigen im Mühlkreis near the Czech border.

Not travelling to Austria is Zdeněk Folprecht, whose contract has ended and is now looking for a new club abroad. The club also failed to come to terms with Michal Obročník, who is also leaving Liberec. Karel Knejzlík, who injured his left knee in Friday´s match against Varnsdorf, will unfortunately be out of action for the next month.

Training camp nomination

Also missing from the camp will be Oscar, who will continue with the team, however. Travelling with the team are 20-year-old Brazilian striker Francisco Walison Vieira da Silva from the youth system of Santos FC, and 22-year-old French defender Gabriel Dubois, who has experience with the junior team of Olympique Marseille. Try-outs will continue in Austria, where they will join the other players already under contract.

A total of 21 players and three goalkeepers have been selected by new head coach Zsolt Hornyák, whose new assistant is Branislav Sokoli. Also continuing as an assistant coach is Miroslav Holeňák.

Friday 6.7. 18:00 SV Ried (Austria) – Slovan Liberec
Monday 9.7. 18:00 ACS Sepsi (Romania) – Slovan Liberec
