When the players of our league squad meet in Liberec on Tuesday morning for the first joint training session of the summer preparation after the physical tests at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport in Prague, Jakub Harant will be there as well, who will join the current coaching team of Luboš Kozel as a second assistant.
The thirty-four-year-old Prague native came to Slovan four years ago from Bohemians in Vršovice, where he worked his way up to head coach of the youth categories. He then worked in our academy also with the juniors. In the last season he was also Petr Myslivec´s assistant in the B-team. He gained his first experience of working with our league team during the winter training camp in Turkey.
And what does he say about his new role? "I´m happy for the chance to be on the coaching staff of Slovan´s A-team. I will try to do my best to make the upcoming season a success. At the same time, I will have responsibilities towards the B-team and the academy, based on the club conception, which will be equally important," reveals Jakub Harant.
