Rolando Aarons moves to the Czech Republic and says positively: “I need mainly match experience now, so I am grateful for the chance to be able to play for Slovan for the rest of the autumn. I look forward to a new experience!” What style of play can we expect from the new recruit? “I´m a fast player. I can play the wing on both sides, but also at centre forward. Of course I like to score goals, but I like to set them up too. I´m just trying to help the team.”
“We want to make use of his qualities and experience from the Premier League. I believe he will adapt quickly and will be available as soon as possible. I hope he will help our offence and assert himself as a shooter,” manager Zsolt Hornyak says about the new member of the squad who will wear the number 26 on his shirt.
It is not often that a Premier League player comes to the Czech club. “I didn’t have much information about Czech football, but my agent was here for a look last week and assured me that the conditions for football are good, the stadium is interesting and that Liberec is a nice city.” The former English youth national team member said about his origins: “I was born in Jamaica, but when I was five, I left with my parents to England. I started playing football at about nine years old.”
