With the kangaroos, as the club is called due to an extended tour of Australia in 1927, Daniel Kosek will also be in the squad. The 19-year-old, who was on the field for us in the 5-0 defeat in Hoffenheim and the subsequent 2-1 sensational win in Teplice, is finally celebrating his premiere at U Nisy in a somewhat curious way. After returning to his parent club Slavia Prague, he has been loaned immediately to their neighbor in the Prague district of Vršovice.
And another old friend has recently been added to the roster of guests. Our former striker Matěj Pulkrab came on loan from Sparta Praha until the end of this season.
With us, newcomer Michal Faško can present himself in the Slovan jersey for the first time. The man is not very well known despite some international stations, but coach Hoftych has a high opinion of him, as he is “a skilled football player” who “can play in different positions and score goals”. The fact that he is the only new addition to numerous departures besides Karafiat “could be problematic with the tight schedule”, but the transfer window is still open for a while and the coach is convinced that “two or three more players will come”.
