Season finale brought České Budějovice into town, a team that is going to be relegated into the Second League. They would, however, surprise the home crowd as 30 minutes in, Michal Řezáč took advantage of a defensive mistake and gave his team an unexpected 1-0 lead.

FC Slovan would wake up just minutes after that, Michal Breznaník could quickly tie things up, but sent the ball just wide. Then, Josef Šural received the ball in a great position and sent a bomb just under the crossbar.

Liberec would take over the match completely in the second half. Thirteen minutes in, Josef Šural added his second goal after Marek Bakoš found him in front of the wide-open net. Michal Breznaník would make it 3-1 not long after, his long shot bounced a couple times on its way to the net.

Five minutes left to play in the season and FC Slovan is not done yet. Jiří Fleišman passed off some beautiful passing plays by his teammates by another goal and Vojtěch Hadaščok made it 5-1 following a great low cross into the box.
