Commentary
Pilsen could score right at the beginning after the corner, but home players were not successful at all so Pešek could start Slovan´s attack right away. From the face to face battle between Kozáčik and Pešek was Viktoria´s goalkeeper the winner. Nothing dangerous happened in the first fifteen minutes. Plzeň tried to break the Slovan´s defence and Liberec was relying on the fast breaks.
The bigger action on Slovan´s side came in the 33rd minute as Mara found Potočný, whos shot from a good position was blocked by the defence. Few minutes after the home team wanted a penalty kick, but referee´s whistle was quiet. On the other side Pilsen had bigger pressure in the last few minutes in the first half as Krmenčík got the ball, but unfortunately for Pilsen´s fans, the ball just missed the net.
Slovan´s goalkeeper had to be ready right after the beginning of the second half. Petržela shot was not bad, but Hladký was successful and thanks to him the game was still goalless. The first change of score came after the sixty minutes and it was Krmenčík who send Pilsen to the lead. Home team grab a momentum and Slovan was lost.
Hope came with the Ševčík´s action, who was fouled right behind the box. Karafiát took the ball, but his shot was not accurate. Liberec wanted to tie the score, but none of the chances ended with a goal.
