Libor Kleibl to quit as club director for personal reasons

Redakce
Liberec - After twenty years in office, during which the club has achieved a number of successes, both in domestic competitions and on the international stage, Ing. Libor Kleibl will leave his position as director of Slovan Liberec in September this year.

"I decided for personal reasons to move to my hometown Ivančice. I was born in the same year as our club was founded, and I have already reached retirement age. I have informed the club´s board of directors of my decision and we have agreed on my ending as a director in September this year. By then there will be enough time for me to hand over all the agenda to my successor," announced the long-time director of FC Slovan Liberec.

"I would like to thank all my colleagues with whom I have been able to work during these twenty years and wish the players and fans the best for Slovan in the future. I will be happy to continue working with the club, but no longer in the role of director," added the 64-year-old official, who was awarded the 2018 František Hrdlička Award for Lifetime Contribution to the Development of the League by the League Football Association.

The name of his successor will be announced shortly.
