Martin Koscelník - Slovakia
The first nominated footballer is Martin Koscelník. The Slovakia national team finished third in the World Cup qualifying group, narrowly missing out on the barrage for qualification (played by the Czech national team). They will now fill their schedule before the UEFA Nations League starts in June with friendlies against two Nordic countries. Martin Koscelník will have the opportunity to extend his number of games for the national team. So far, he has played in 12 games and scored once.
The first opponent of the Slovak national team will be Norway on 25 March, the match will be played in Oslo. After that, the Slovaks will head home to Trnava Stadium to face Finland on 29 March.
Yusuf Helal - Bahrain
The other senior representative is experienced striker Yusuf Helal, who is not missing from Bahrain‘s squad. The Liberec footballer has recently returned from injury and will now have the chance to play in three international friendlies. His national team will first play India (23 March), followed by Burundi (26 March) and Belarus (29 March).
We congratulate both players on their nomination and wish them good luck in the national team and may they return to Liberec safely!
