Start of the pre-season: Everything new at Slovan Liberec

Editors
L i b e r e c - The A-team players started their preparations for the new season at the U Nisy stadium. New coach Radoslav Kováč welcomed some new faces and many familiar ones, including club legend Michael Rabušic, who will decide in the next few weeks whether he will play for Slovan for another season. After two weeks of training in the Czech Republic, the team will travel to Austria for a pre-season camp. A total of six friendlies are planned.

Marek Icha and Josef Koželuh are the new faces in the squad. Dominik Plechatý and Christian Frýdek, who missed many matches through injury, are now fully recovered. The club is working hard to bring in further signings.

Apart from Mohamed Doumbia and Michal Fukala, whose departures were announced at the end of last season, Matej Chaluš, Filip Prebsl, Filip Horský and Jan Žamburek, who spent last season as guest players in our team, did not show up for the start of the summer preparations. Daniel Tetour will not play in Liberec next season.

A number of youngsters from the B team (Jindřich Musil, Sebastian Kop) and the youth team (Matěj Strnad) have joined the A team for training. They are being accompanied by 19-year-old defender Adam Ševínský from Sparta Prague. The clubs are currently discussing the terms of his possible involvement in our team.

Ahmad Ghali will join the team after his arrival from Africa. Ľubomír Tupta is on international duty with the Slovak national team. Michael Rabušic is starting his preparations and will decide whether to continue as a player or in another role in the autumn.
