Commentary
In the beggining of match had the ball home team and in 9th minute had a big chance Tričkovski, but defenders came back and stopped his attempt. Slovan had two beautiful attempts. Firstly, Folprecht tried a bicycle kick and then Vůch tried the same, but even him wasn´t accurate. In 29th minute Sýkora took a corner kick and with precise cross found head of Vladimír Coufal, who opened the score. In last minute of first half was Alves in a big chance, but Dúbravka showed extraordinary save.
First shot of second half was Bartošák´s free kick, whick Miňa saved. The pressure was growing and Tričkovski had another unsuccesful chance. In 66th minute raised chances of Slovan to win Juanma Ortiz, who get a unneccesery red card for talks with a referee. Even in 10 players was AEK dangerous, active Tričkovski had another chance, which Dúbravka stopped with quick save. In 80th minute in front of our bench, coach Trpišovský pushed a player of AEK, who behave in inapropriate way and our coach was sent off to tribune. Biggest chance of AEK had in the same minute Jorge, whose shot ended on the bar. From quick breaks had our team big opportunity to double the score, but Súkenník and hit the post. After wild match, Slovan won in Cyprus and has close to reach the group stage of Europa league for two time in a row.
