Europa League, FC Slovan Liberec – Olympique Marseille 2:4

The last deciding match of Europa league group F played Slovan Liberec against famous French club Olympique Marseille. For qualifying to the spring part of the second most prestigious European club league must Slovan beat his opponent.

Commentary

The plan of Liberec was corrupt in stillborn first half, when talented Mich Batshuayi opened the score of the match in 14. minute and before the break Georges-Kevin N´Koudou raised chances of Marseile to win this match by passing through Slovan´s goalkeeper Koubek.

The situation was for Czech team even worse after the half-time, because Abdelaziz Barrada gave his team the lead 3:0, even though Liberec was playing good football. Good-quality performance of home team was awarded by two quick goals in two minutes, firstly Marek Bakoš scored penalty kick against French national goalkeeper Steven Mandanda and after one minute, in 76. Josef Šural scored after wonderful cross by Jefremov. In folowing 15 minutes Liberec was trying to equalize,but the didn´t make it and in last minute Lucas Ocampos took adventage of open defence and scored for final 4:2 for his team.
