Shortly before the end of the first half, Rolando Aarons sent a nice pass to Sevcik, who just failed to convert.
Slovan started the second half with the same high pace and got a couple of chances, with Oscar’s volley hitting the last defender back. From the subsequent corner, Slovan did not threaten. A moment later, Malinsky broke free but Buchta stopped him. In the other direction, Slovan was awarded a free kick from a dangerous distance. Kerbr hit the wall twice, and Sigma goalie Aarons was ready when needed.
With 20 minutes left to play, Buchta made another big save off Mashikemu, and then Martin Koscelník, who had entered the game 10 minutes prior, made use of a flawless Sevcik pass, giving the home fans a chance to cheer for the second time.
Olomouc’s situation went from bad to worse when Falta sent Breite to the ground in the centre circle. After consulting the video, The referee finally gave Falta a red card, reducing Olomouc to 10 players.
With victory now in sight, Matěj Hybš finished off the scoring in added time, securing Slovan’s first three-point win in the league since Přibram.
