Commentary

Slovan were dominant from the beginning of the match. Shortly after the start, they sent two dangerous shots at Hybš, but neither found the back of the net. A few moments later, however, Musa took a shot from the edge of the area which was also stopped, but Alexandru Baluta quickly pounced on the rebound and scored.

The same player fired again a moment later, but this time Staňek cleared the ball out of harm’s way. Shortly thereafter, Karafiát got himself a good chance but shot wide. At the other end of the pitch, Mustedanagić sent a magnificent blast that Nguyen turned away.

The crazy start of the match was underlined by the 15th minute. Dynamo’s Kladrubský sent the ball to substitute David Ledecký, who headed it in. Less than a minute later, Patrik Brandner gave České Budějovice the lead after the Liberec defence failed to stop a long outlet pass. The goal parade wasn't over, as in the 23rd minute Malinský sent a ball to Roman Potočný's head and he overcame the goalkeeper Dynamo to level the scores at two each.

Musa had another chance on the ball, who got into a promising position after capturing the pass of the visiting goalkeeper by one of his teammates. However, he did not score the same goal as Balut, who fired on Potocny's waist outside. Our team started actively in the second half, resulting in a go-ahead goal. Potočný directed his pass around the corner to Petar Musa and the Croatian striker made no mistake.

The fans did not have to wait long for the fourth goal. Jiří Kladrubský fouled Roman Potočný in the penalty area and Kamso Mara’s shot was kicked in by a shot to the right post. In the 80th minute, Ivan Schranz could have cut the deficit to one, trying to surprise Nguyen, but his shot was off target. The match finally ended with the Slavia winning 4-2, giving the players a chance to rejoice in front of their own spectators for the second time this season.
