Commentary

The home team started out a little bit better as Marek Bakoš found Martin Frýdek inside the penalty area, but the ball ended up going wide 11 minutes in. Just two minutes later, however, Teplice took the lead. Štěpán Vachoušek received the ball just outside the box and sent one wonderful volley past Ondřej Kolář and in to make it 1-0.

Slovan could tie the score not long after that when Tomáš Grigar left the net for no apparent reason and Frýdek tried to find the empty goal, but his attempt only hit the crossbar. Teplice defender Tomáš Vondrášek had a big chance late in the first half also, but this time Kolář saved the day and kept the lead small.

Despite the fact that Slovan looked like the better team out there, Teplice had more chances in the second half as well. Roman Potočný fired one off the post in minute 65. Then, with time running down, Josef Šural had a gaping net, but he wasn´t given much space and missed it.

Just a minute later, Kolář made a good save on a good shot by Potočný, but the rebound went to Egon Vůch who sealed the deal on his team´s win, which prolongs the Slovan losing streak to four games.
