Commentary
The match started pretty well for the fans as both teams got close to scoring. Home side´s Jakub Řezníček who got to two chances, but could conver neither. On the other side, Tomáš Ďubek looked dangerous six minutes in, but wasn´t given a chance by the opposing defense.
It took Příbram 34 minutes to convert the pressure into a well-deserved goal. After a scramble inside the box, Josef Hnaníček was able to put the ball past Ondřej Kolář and in to give his team a 1-0 lead that would prevail until the very end of the match.
The second half started tragically for FC Slovan as a break by Martin Zeman had to be stopped illegaly by Miloš Karišik who was sent off for the foul. Immediately after that, Kolář had to keep his team in the match by a great save on Martin Krameš.
Besides a waved-off goal by Řezníček following an offside call, not much happened in the rest of the match and Slovan had to come back home empty-handed.
