Commentary
About ten minutes later, Jan Chramosta was set up inside the penalty area by Radim Řezník, but fired one over the goal. Chramosta could get his goal four minutes later, but goalie Ondřej Kolář said no with a great one-on-one save.
Late in the first half, it was about time for Slovan to get something going as well and it was Dzon Delarge finishing things off, but Pilsen goalie Matúš Kozáčik was flawless on that one, keeping his team in the lead after 45 minutes.
Thirteen minutes into the second half, Josef Šural escaped a back along the right wing and instead of crossing the ball into the penalty area, he opted for a bad-angle shot that fooled Kozáčik and made him give up a goal he should have had.
With the score tied at one, both teams felt a chance of taking all three points from this one and there were opportunities. Pilař, however, got denied his second of the night by goalie Kolář, and Vojtěch Hadaščok, Slovan striker, fired the ball too high to beat Kozáčik.
With the final score of 1-1, Slovan is twelfth in the standings seven weeks into the season.
