Commentary

The home team started off quickly and just six minutes in, a free kick by Patrik Hrošovský got prolonged by the header of Ondřej Vaněk and then Roman Hubník was right there in front of Luboš Hroššo to open the scoring.

Viktoria had a couple more chances in the first half, all after free kicks or crosses, but the ball kept going wide of the net.

The second half saw Slovan effort to tie things up, but Václav Pilař had a huge chance after great individual play to get past a couple of defensemen, but Hroššo made the save.

With fourteen minutes left to play, all hopes for Slovan got buried when a corner kick executed by Jan Kovařík found the head of Ondřej Vaněk who beat Hroššo and set the final score at 2-0.
