FC Slovan entered the game with a better aggregate score, but also knowing that Shmona only needed a 1-0 victory to advance further. The home team could have that lead pretty soon when Bruno redirected a good cross into the hands of Tomáš Koubek.

It would be the visiting team, however, who opened the scoring. Half an hour in, Vladimír Coufal sent a perfect cross into the box where David Pavelka was able to bomb it past goalkeeper Guy Haimov and in.

Eleven minutes later, Zdeněk Folprecht was given too much time on the edge of the penalty area and set up Josef Šural for a great shot that found its way in despite effort from the defence.

Early in the second half, Slovan kept on raiding the Isreali resort town of Netanya where the game was played. Herolind Shala had the ball near the box and beautifully sent ahead Marek Bakoš who didn´t make a big deal out of it and just put it past Haimov.

Up by three, Slovan could score another one when Lukáš Bartošák crossed the ball in, but this time Haimov was able to deny Šural a goal.

3-0 would be the final score in favor of FC Slovan Liberec which means the Czech side advances to the Europa League playoffs.
