Commentary

Viktoria entered the opening minutes better, creating an opening chance in the 9th minute. Lukáš Kalvach did attempt a finish but from an awkward position, sending the ball into the section of away fans. But then the home combination turned out even better. Milan Havel from the right side centered for Aleš Čermák , who beat the Liberec goalkeeper to the left side.

Čermák tasted blood and in the 20th minute had a chance to score a second goal after another Havel pass from the right side, but this time he was standing in an offside position that was judged correctly by the linesman and confirmed by the video referee. The home team still managed to make it to the half. At first, Slovan threatened, but Mashike's offer was not converted by Michal, to whom one of the defenders blocked the shot at the last moment.

As against Slavia, however, the wall in the standard situation of Jan Kovařík erred , as he pierced through the middle and sent his shot directly to the bar. The second half took place in a similar trend as the first, and in the 54th minute Černický hit the ball sharply and Hruška had to stretch far to pull out the shot.

At the other end, Kačaraba fouled Aleš Čermák in the penalty area and the Pilsen midfielder converted the penalty kick himself in uncompromising fashion. A moment later, Viktoria increased their lead when the ball appeared in the scrum with the free Ondřej Mihálik. However, Slovan did not fold the tend, and on the left side was Šulc, who challenged Michal Beran with a good chance. However, the young midfielder did not aim accurately at the critical moment.

The last exciting moment was an attempt by Chorý, who received a pass from outgoing Viktoria captain Roman Hubník, but he did not hit the target either. Slovan thus lost to Pilsen 4-0 and due to the 1-1 draw between Jablonec and Baník, will play a Europa League qualifying match on Sunday against Mladá Boleslav.
