The home side started the match clearly better, and it didn’t take very long for Martin Nový to put the Příbram’s keeper under pressure. However, Kočí stayed calm and caught the mid-range shot. Nevertheless, Liberec didn’t have to mourn for long as just five minutes later Petar Musa was left unattended in the penalty area, and after Potočný’s cross the Croatian striker had an easy job.
Slovan got into a full-attack mood which brought him another success pretty early, in the 32nd minute Tomáš Malinský received a solid through pass and put the ball right in the net. The visitors, however, wanted revenge and they got it just before the half-time when Marek Kodr jumped the highest and Filip Nguyen was unable to stop his header.
But the second half definitely wasn’t the luckiest for Marek Kodr, although he got his second goal of the match in the 66th minute, this time he hit his own team’s net when trying to clear to ball thus doubled Liberec’s lead.
Despite a late offense by Příbram which resulted into Soufiane Dramé getting his team back in touch in the 90th minute, the hosts were able to maintain their lead and winning 3-2.
