Commentary
The audience did not need to wait a long time for the first change of score. Due to the combination on the right side Pulkrab had a space for his pass to Breite. The second-name player found a space between the goalkeeper´s legs and Slovan took the lead after three minutes of play. Karafiát could increase the lead, but his free-kick shot did not find its target. Then Ostrava came with an answer. Breite lost a ball in the midfield and Azevedo got a ball on Tomáš Mičola, who scored from a rebound as his first action did not lead to the goal.
No big chances were seen until 25th minute. That was a moment of Bosančić as he showed his fastest run and ruined the Ostrava´s action. Even Liberec had their attempt to score another leading goal, but Šustr was pretty sure about the easy save after Breite´s cross. All, who came to the stadium, did not need to regret coming to this match because it was full of action. Kúdela had a ball for a long time in his own defensive zone so Azevedo just came and stole the ball, but his shot missed the target.
From the very beginning of a second half Ostrava made a pressure, but Baroš did not get a ball behind the goal line in his slippage. After this action also Šindelář tried his luck from 30 metres but he was not successful. Ostrava increased the pressure. Baroš could score after the corner, but Coufal was in the right place and did not allow a danger in front of Kolář. Liberec also tried long passes and Kerbr´s one came into the small box, but it was Ostrava´s defence who got the ball first.
More dangerous action happened on the other side as Voltr got a ball on Pulkrab who passed it on Breite, whose attempt just missed the left post. But Liberec´s fans did not need to be sad because Radek Voltr scored the leading goal after his solo action. This second goal decided that three points stayed in Liberec.
