Round 19: One point, no goals in home match against České Budějovice

L i b e r e c - In a match that was characterized by austerity of chances. Still Slovan had some, but wasn´t capable of scoring a goal and hence had to bo satisfied with just one point.

Commentary

Both teams took a very cautios approach into the match with not risking too much in terms of opening up spaces that might be of use for the other side. Thus, the number of chances was quite low in the first half with Slovan being the slightly better team.

In the second half Slovan increased pressure and came to chances for Rabušic, Rondić and Pešek but nothing countable was to be added to the scoreboard.

The Red Card for Skovajsa in the 88th minute came too late to being of use for Slovan.

This draw leaves us on 5th place in the table with 5 points behind Slovacko.

The cup draw revealed that we will face České Budějovice again in the round of 16.
