The negative balance in Haná persists. Despite an improved second half performance, Slovan fell 0:1.

Slovan entered the match in Haná a bit more timidly without their two centre-backs from the last matches. The home team Sigma was slightly more active, our players were waiting more for counterattacks. We waited until the 15th minute for any hint of a chance, when home forward Mojmír Chytil tried to find a teammate running after him with a back pass. But TGS was the first one to get the ball and prevented the danger. Fortunately, Sigma did not threaten significantly from the following two corner kicks.

In the 25th minute, however, the home side turned their dominance into the opening goal. Chytil's hard shot was deflected by Knobloch, but Jan Navrátil opened the scoring from a goal against the bar. Ironically, this gave the Liberec players a boost and four minutes later they got their first shot on goal. But Michael Rabušic headed the ball out of the home goal after a Koscelník cross. In the 34th minute, Chytil registered a shot on target. But Knobloch was not unsettled by the attempt on the ground.

A few minutes later, Koscelník found Fukala with a cross across the width of the pitch. The latter tackled the onrushing Navratil in a personal duel and just enough so that his shot to the back post did not end up in the net. Just before the break, Christ Tiéhi finished the siege of the Olomouc penalty area with an inaccurate shot over the goal. Slovan improved slightly, but didn't score again and went into the cabins with a one-goal deficit.

Our players were more active in the second half and in the 49th minute they made the first threat to Macík. Christian Frýdek shot from behind the penalty box and tested the home goalkeeper with a bouncing shot. On the other side, Zahradníček headed just wide of Knobloch's goal from a standard situation. After Slovan's offensive pressure in the following minutes came a mistake, a foul by Purzitidis and a subsequent chance for Olomouc. Chvátal's shot was cleared by Knobloch for a corner.

After that, the game became fragmented due to substitutions on both sides and more frequent fouls. In the 70th minute Christian Frýdek had the equaliser opportunity on his hands. After a pass from Rondić, he moved the ball into the box and fired hard. Macík managed to knock his shot away. A few minutes later, Júsuf extended Koscelník's cross with a header. Olomouc goalkeeper Macík pulled the ball out of the air in front of Rondić at the last moment. In the 83rd minute Chvátal wanted to surprise our goalkeeper from a corner kick. But the ball ended up on the top net of the Liberec goal.

Then Višinský scored on the other side of the pitch after a cross. Sigma's goalkeeper caught the twisted ball in his gloves without any problems. Jemelka's header attempt after a corner kick was again saved by Knobloch. A moment before the end, Yusuf tried to get in a shot. Finally, he sent a shot into the box, but there was no one in white. In injury time, Frýdek fired again. His shot was deflected just over by one of the home players. In the nervous, disjointed ending, Slovan did not score again and lost 0:1 in Olomouc.
